Big HGHS Reunion October 16, 17,18, 2009
This is the Big Weekend! All HGHS classes up through 1952 have committed to
a Reunion in Chappaqua.
Among the Forty Niners who
-- so far -- have said they would attend are Sheila Morrison Schneider, Alan Quinby,
Hugh Ferguson, Mimi Haas Churchill, Joyce Macklin Lee, Ed Stahl, John Twiname,
Helen Wallis Phillips, Phil Carlier…along with spouses and significant others.
Urge your friends and classmates to join you. Earlier
and later classes will be joining us in what promises to be a great weekend, maybe
the last of its kind.
We're planning a Friday evening opening cocktail
party at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Kisco… a Saturday breakfast and tour of Horace
Greeley (now the Bell School) followed by a special presentation at the Greeley
House… a Saturday afternoon bus tour of Chappaqua…a Saturday night dinner
dance…and Sunday going-away brunch.
Any ideas
or suggestions for other events? Let us know.
Please
let us know if you will need a room reservation at the Mt. Kisco Holiday Inn.
